Rising to the challenge together
Rising to the challenge together
It’s the beginning of a two-year journey shaped by the voices of those working at the sharp end of corporate real estate.
With input from almost 300 senior CRE professionals, we’ve captured a snapshot of an industry being asked to do more, with fewer resources, greater expectations, and less certainty than ever before. Yet what emerges is not a picture of paralysis, but one of potential. Across every challenge - strategic misalignment, volatility, overstretched teams, underutilised space, fragmented data - leaders are finding new ways to rise.
This edition marks the first step in an extended campaign designed to keep that momentum going. Because (Y)OUR SPACE is not a report. It’s a platform to support those determined to rise to the challenge - consistently, confidently, and together.
Over the next 24 months, (Y)OUR SPACE will come to life through a series of connected outputs designed to help occupiers not just understand what’s changing, but to act on that change.
Delve into our ongoing research:
These high-impact editorial pieces will track the pulse of the market. Blending timely commentary with global signals and curated insight, the Anthologies will provide a short but meaningful way to stay ahead of emerging issues shaping work and the workplace.
Read the latest digest which spotlights the stories unfolding in the market and on the ground. Digests feature real-world occupier activity, evidence of changing behaviours, and case studies that show what rising to the challenge looks like in practice.
What's next for the occupier? 2026 will be a year of paradox, not resolution. The four forces dominatin occupier thinking: cost, volatility, workstyles, and geopolitics will converge. So too will AI and energy, whose interdependence may prove the most powerful disruptor of all.
(Y)OUR SPACE will also expand as a living platform; offering sector-specific research, our unique Global CRE Sentiment Index (GCRESI), and a new, revised Global Occupier Dashboard to support decision-making at every level. And as it grows, (Y)OUR SPACE will become more than a set of outputs. It will become a space in its own right: a space where CRE professionals come together to exchange ideas, share best practice, test thinking, and air frustrations.
The next phase of (Y)OUR SPACE is about more than sharing insight. It’s about building something bigger, with you.
We want (Y)OUR SPACE to become a living, breathing community. A place where ideas are tested, frustrations aired, best practice exchanged, and new solutions sparked. Whether you’re leading a global portfolio or managing transformation in a single market, your experience matters - and your voice belongs here.
So, here’s our invitation: stay engaged. Share your stories. Tell us what’s working and what isn’t. Use this platform to connect with others who are facing similar pressures. Use it to raise the bar for what’s possible in corporate real estate.
The campaign has started.
The conversation is moving.
Now let’s turn shared insight into shared progress.
Let’s rise to the challenge - together.
