Its cobbled streets host a weekly market, while the truly spectacular Festival de Lacoste sees opera, theatre, dance and cinema shows held within the grounds of the Château de Sade and its ancient quarry.
Sitting in the Luberon also means the village is a fantastic base from which to hike and cycle, alongside other outdoor activities.
