Before joining Knight Frank in 2023, Jonathan led global retail strategy at Arcadis and founded a property development business in the UK, combining strategic advisory with practical development and delivery experience.

• Led the strategy for a major retail-led mixed-use development in Shanghai, covering joint venture structuring, trade area analysis, tenant strategy, income modelling and business case preparation.
• Delivered an asset repositioning and turnaround strategy for a distressed shopping centre in Melbourne, contributing to a 55% increase in value and a US$150 million sale within two years. Net operating income increased from a US$4.4 million loss to US$6.2 million.
• Advised CITIC Pacific Properties on a US$4 billion leisure and resort destination on Hainan Island, providing market positioning, operator engagement and investment strategy.
