Daniel Pugh is a Partner at Knight Frank and Head of Hospitality Valuation & Advisory, MENA. With more than 20 years of experience across the UK, Europe and the Middle East, he leads hospitality valuation and advisory across MENA for hotels, resorts and integrated leisure destinations.
Dan advises private equity firms, institutional investors and high-net-worth individuals on hotel and resort valuations, acquisitions, disposals and business planning. His expertise also includes hospitality investment advisory, development strategy and asset management.
Before joining Knight Frank in 2022, Dan held hospitality valuation and investment roles with Christie & Co, JLL and Cushman & Wakefield. He is an RICS Registered Valuer, Taqeem Fellow Member and RERA Accredited Valuation Professional.
Notable Experience
• Led hospitality valuation and advisory work for Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund on flagship developments including AMAALA, The Red Sea, NEOM and Qiddiya.
• Served as project lead for the acquisition advisory and valuation of nine Four Seasons hotels in Egypt on behalf of ADQ.
• Delivered valuations supporting Dubai Holding’s disposal of its stake in Dubai Creek Harbour to EMAAR.
• Provided hotel development advisory and portfolio valuations for clients including Aldar Properties, Emaar Hospitality, Dubai Holding and Nakheel.
