Chris Barker

Chris Barker is a Partner within Knight Frank Australia’s Project Management & Building Consultancy Department and is the National Head of Building Consultancy. Chris has been working with Knight Frank for over 9 years within NSW and manages a national team of Chartered Building Consultants. Chris is responsible for generating business nationally and within NSW and delivery of services to Knight Frank's clients. Chris' clients include major property funds including Lendlease, GPT, AMP, Mirvac, Charter Hall, SCA Property, HomeCo. and Goodman. Chris is also a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) since 2003, appointed as a Principal Assessor and was formally a board member. Chris is currently an assessor and councils a number of candidates. As well as the management side of the business Chris specialises in a number of service lines including technical due diligence, make good, capital expenditure advisory services and expert witness in relation to building defects. The main areas of focus that Chris and his team specialise in are Commercial, Industrial, Retail and hospitality. Recently the team have been involved in specialist advisory services for organisations specialising in not-for-profit, aged-care and childcare.
