Matt commenced his career as a valuer in 2003 and after several years across various roles with major agencies and Real Estate Investment Trusts globally he now leads the Valuation and Advisory team for Knight Frank Newcastle. Matt is responsible for the day to day management of the Division including peer review, mentoring of junior valuers and counter signing as a Valuation Director for mortgage and non-mortgage valuations.
Matt’s experience over the last 15+ years has encompassed the provision of valuation, consultancy, rental and acquisition advice across a range of property types within both the Hunter region and Sydney metropolitan region, with a specialist focus on larger scale commercial and industrial assets, commercial/industrial and residential subdivisions, as well as rural lifestyle and grazing properties.
Clients include a range of property trusts, syndicates, developers and private investors. He has also been involved in all aspects of valuation team management, business development, strategy and co-ordination of valuation instructions and the management of property portfolio valuation assignments across a range of sectors.
