Martin has over 25 years’ experience in the real estate industry. For the majority of this time, Martin has been involved in the leasing of commercial office space in the Adelaide CBD. Martin commenced his commercial real estate career with AMP in 1988 and then joined Baillieu Knight Frank in 1990, where he was involved in City and Investment Sales.
In 1994 with the merger of Hooker Corporate Martin joined Office Leasing, bringing a wealth of Adelaide CBD building experience. In 1997, Martin was promoted to Associate Director of Office Leasing and then Director of Office Leasing in 1999. Martin is responsible for the day to day management of the Office Leasing Department and directs the activities of the Office Leasing team.
Martin’s high degree of enthusiasm, energy and expertise in sourcing, qualifying and negotiating leases on sound commercial terms is demonstrated by him being awarded with REISA Commercial Agent of the Year 2010 and has been a recipient of Knight Frank’s national Chairman’s Award for high fee earners written nationwide since inception in 2003. Martin was awarded the Golden Oar award in 2013 for the being highest leasing fee income earner in Australia.
Martin has extensive experience in the Adelaide property market having been involved in many of Adelaide’s major leasing and sales transactions and a major driver in Adelaide’s development market.
