Apprentice, Commercial Valuations, London

Knight Frank’s apprenticeship scheme can provide the best opportunity for those looking to start a career in real estate.

You learn something new every day working at Knight Frank, thanks to the different people, the wide variety of property and clients who we operate with. The scheme has personally given me the opportunity to encourage young people to start a career in the profession, and to raise awareness within the firm about the exciting opportunities that are available for apprentices.

Since starting at Knight Frank, I have worked predominately in the Commercial Valuations department and have worked across most different property classes, including: retail, office, leisure, industrial and developments. These properties ranged in value, too, working with properties that cost £500,000 to well over £200,000,000.

Being a part of Knight Frank isn’t just about being a hard-working member of team – they’ve helped me focus on my personal development, too. As part of my apprenticeship scheme I attend University one day a week, which helps me gain the academic foundations for a career in property, the practical skills needed and the opportunity to network with other like-minded students. The firm also organises several sporting events throughout the summer such as softball, cricket and rugby sevens, and these are all great fun to be part of.

For anyone interested in a career in property, I could not recommend joining the apprenticeship scheme enough.
