Nicholas is responsible for leading Knight Frank’s Asia-Pacific Research and Consultancy platform of over 50 professionals across 14 markets. His role includes co-ordinating research teams, tracking market performance, and producing market leading commentary presented through various mediums: reports, presentations (client and industry), social and traditional media. He has extensive international experience, having worked on a wide range of research and consultancy projects in the UK, mainland Europe and throughout Asia-Pacific. He is a regular presenter at industry forums throughout the region, focusing on special areas of interest within the field, including government policy and interventions, cycle analysis, capital markets and cross-border capital flows. He has provided multi-market research and advisory to developers, lenders and corporate clients from a number of countries. More specifically, he has advised Asian banks on global residential markets in order to inform their off-shore mortgage lending strategies, corporate clients on their regional real estate portfolios and regional developers on real estate fundamentals and opportunities around the region. Prior to moving to Singapore, Nicholas headed the Research and Consultancy division for Knight Frank Vietnam. In this position, he worked with a large number of both foreign and domestic developers, providing a full range of development consultancy services and value related advisory. This included master plan advice, full financial feasibility studies, and highest and best use recommendations. Key clients included Pruksa, Mapletree, Deloitte, Protrade, Lotte, Fideco, Mitsubishi, Nam Long, NBB, and Samsung C & T Corporation. Before relocating to Asia, he worked in France as a valuer and consultant, providing valuation and advice to developers, sovereign wealth funds, corporate clients and institutional investors across European markets. Major clients included Unibail Rodamco, Prologis, AEW, ING Real Estate and Metrovacesa.
