_Exceptional Woman: Meet Sreyleak Enchan
Part of our Knight Frank Cambodia office, Sreyleak Enchan was recently promoted to Assistant Manager in Agency Services. Helping owners and tenants find the right buyers and right properties, Sreyleak joined Knight Frank because she was fundamentally passionate about property, and she thought our reputation in the market was a perfect fit for her career and professional development. Today, she aims to shape the real estate sector in the Kingdom.
The editorial team has spent some time with Sreyleak to better understand her motivations and why she has been nominated Exceptional Woman of the Year!
How do you ensure you bring your best every day?
Sreyleak Enchan: I am a very motivated individual that believes in herself and has a strong enthusiasm to keep on learning and growing. Every day I bring the spirit of positive energy and a can-do attitude. I strive to be the best I can be in everything I do, both professionally and personally.
How do you invest in your personal growth?
SE: As mentioned previously, this has certainly been an area of focus, especially during the past two years with the global pandemic and the impact this has had on the Cambodian real estate sector. I have grown stronger, both mentally and emotionally, and I maintained a positive attitude during challenging times and led by example for my colleagues in the office. It has also highlighted the importance of nurturing and growing my personal and professional relationships as a support platform.
Relating to this year’s Women International day theme #BreakTheBias, how do you think you could contribute to breaking the bias?
SE: I aim to break the traditional bias in the real estate industry and promote gender equality and inclusivity. Women are strong and dynamic, and we should be rewarded and recognised.
As a woman working in the industry, I bring my enthusiasm and story along with my working achievements and ethic to inspire other women in my community.
To continue breaking the bias, I always look to share my personal experiences and encourage all women, particularly those from developing countries like mine to stay strong and motivated.
