In a city famous for its architectural one-upmanship, 53W53 has been described as an 'urban icon' that has found its place in a vertical skyline dominated by the bold and boundary-pushing.

This tapered, 1,050 foot tower showcases bold and technical achievement by Pritzker Prize-winning architect Jean Nouvel with interiors by Thierry Despont.

Its silhouette doesn't shout for attention in a city whose skyline does just that, it just is New York. Exuberant and playful, 53W53 is anchored by MoMA - one of the world's most influential temples to modern art, free thought and borderless expression in the cultural heart of the city, Midtown.

This 82-story tower offers innovative design with multiple tapered surfaces that create a unique silhouette, and, with floor-to-ceiling, triple pane windows, provide a rare architectural context through which to view Central Park and the downtown Manhattan skyline.

Stepping inside, the 53W53 experience is no less impressive. A collection of 145 1-4 bedroom residences and 17 studio and 1-bedroom suites offer majestic scale, generous proportions, beautifully conceived details and stunning views across Central Park, the Hudson River, East River and Manhattan skyline.

Interior spaces are designed by Thierry Despont, the French-born architect and mastermind behind the restoration of the Statue of Liberty and the Ritz Paris. Despont designed custom features specifically for 53W53, including round polished-nickel vanity mirrors in the impeccably detailed spa-like bathrooms and back-painted glass cabinetry in the kitchens.

Over 30,000 square feet of extraordinary amenities include a full-floor, 15,000 sq ft wellness centre managed by The Wright Fit. Residents have full access to a 65-ft lap pool, whirlpool, and cold plunge with poolside vertical gardens designed by French botanist and inventor Patrick Blanc.

Other resident perks include massage, sauna and steam rooms, squash court, golf simulator, private screening room, double-height wine tasting room, library, children’s playroom and double-height lounge with a private dining room overlooking Central Park.

Deeply personalised, five-star-hotel-level services transcend even the most discerning expectations. Doorman, concierge and porter services are available 24 hours a day, with premium services available that include pantry-stocking, housekeeping, dry cleaning and laundry, floral delivery and care, pet walking and grooming as well as priority reservations for in-residence dining.

Residents of the building will receive exclusive memberships to MoMA, including the opportunity to host private events in the museum’s iconic sculpture garden.
