_International property of the week: Luxury flats for sale in Lisbon

Martinhal Residences is currently under construction close to Lisbon’s newly regenerated waterfront Park of Nations.

The 160 homes - studios, one to four-bedroom apartments and five-bedroom penthouses—are in a stylish, contemporary fourteen-floor tower where the first four floors will operate as a family-focused hotel.

All the Residences have balconies, most with wide views across the Tagus River or to the Vasco de Gama bridge and all share access to indoor and outdoor heated pools, restaurants, children’s playrooms and co-working space. 

This is the second Lisbon project and the fifth in Portugal from the Martinhal Group, an established upmarket family-friendly hotel operator and residential developer who will manage the hotel. The company is also opening an international school in Parque das Nações in 2020 with plans for 850 pupils. 

Martinhal Residences are in Lisbon’s newest neighbourhood with modern and efficient transport links including the dramatic Oriente Train Station designed by Santiago Calatrava.

The centre of Lisbon is within fifteen minutes, the international airport even closer and there is swift access to Portugal’s main motorways, the A8 and A12 heading north to Porto and south to the Algarve.

Homes range from €260,000 for a 38 square metre studio to €3,000,000 for a 250 square metre penthouse.

Owners can choose to take a rental guarantee of 4 per cent net for six years with all furnishings, utilities and service charges paid by the developers and an annual two weeks personal use.
