_Alex James boosts Knight Frank’s Private Client commercial investment reach
Previously an Associate Partner in Knight Frank’s Middle East office, Alex brings with him a wide range of skills and experience, having significantly expanded the team’s client base across sovereign wealth funds, REITs, institutions, family offices and ultra-HNWIs.
During his four years in the Middle East Capital Markets team, Alex spearheaded business development for Knight Frank in Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and the UAE, becoming one of the leading global referrers across the business in 2017. He assisted in growing the team’s local market share and dominance, culminating in disposing the largest UAE office investment transaction on record in 2018.
Since starting his career at DTZ (now Cushman and Wakefield), Alex has advised on over US$2.5bn of global investment transactions and worked across a variety of sectors including education, logistics, healthcare, hospitality, retail and landmark HQ offices.
Part of the UK and European investment team at DTZ, he was responsible for underwriting investments, completing major acquisitions and disposals across the UK and Europe in a variety of sectors, and delivering strategic advice to clients throughout the transaction process.
