A business park may be set for further commercial development after being bought for £800,000.
The sum was spent by AMZME, a local property development firm which has acquired 14,000 sq ft of commercial office and warehouse space, LDP business reports.
At present, only half the site is available for commercial use but managing director Marcel Zachariah said the company was thinking of developing the other half.
He stated: "It has great potential and we are considering developing part of the site to enhance the size and quality of accommodation."
One site which has already been developed for new commercial use is Fountain House in the centre of Leeds.
The building has been the subject of a £5 million revamp by owners Burnford Park Estates, which has been focused on internal refurbishment and a renewal of the art deco facade in order to create 35,000 sq ft of attractive new office space, The Business Desk reports.
